Tanya is also knowledgeable in life insurance policies such as whole life, term life, cancer or stroke policies, hospital indemnity, critical illness, dental, and vision plans.
She is certified to assist with Marketplace enrollments, advance premium tax credits, case management, and even uploading required documents to Healthcare.gov or local state Medicaid offices. She is happy to help you enroll in Medicaid, Extra Help, and Patient Assistance Programs for expensive medications.
Why Tanya does this work
Some years ago, Tanya lost her job, which meant losing the medical coverage for her husband, who was on dialysis. While at a local Christian concert, she met a woman who turned out to be her husband's social worker at his dialysis clinic. Within days of that chance encounter, the woman helped Tanya enroll in a supplemental coverage plan and get assistance from the American Kidney Fund to cover the premium until she could get back on her feet. Tanya cared for her husband at home throughout his ten-year health journey, until he passed a year and a half ago.
That woman, now Tanya's business partner, encouraged her to put her bilingual skills to work in a new career she now knows firsthand. The flexibility of the work once let her care for her husband from home, and today it drives her to help others navigate the same questions she once faced about medications, specialists, and coverage. With that as her motivation, Tanya is dedicated to making sure her clients get the best value for their money.
